[North American Exclusive] It's been quite some time since we've heard from Durham ambient artist David Newlyn. Having carried his Symbolic Interaction and U-Cover releases prior back in the mid to late aughts. He's been extremely busy in the last 10 or so years releasing compositions with Hibernate, Time Released Sound, Tokyo Droning, his own October Man Recordings as well as a slew of releases on many of the handmade boutique labels out there carefully assembling their artifacts.

While a title of Collected Fictions might seem that this is an extras or lost tracks compilation it is indeed eight new tracks of Newlyn Minimalism. Piano, gauzy guitars, muted drones, field recordings and steady minimal electronics are the order of the day. The song below even has a bit of Spaceman 3 style psychedelia folded in for good measure.

Collected Fictions is limited edition to 200 copies and it comes in a handmade, hand-numbered, hand-stamped green-grey cardboard envelope. As with all SiS releases it also comes with the front cover polaroid, insert sheet with liner notes and download card.
