Touchin’ Bass brings you Arovane's latest release. The late 90s saw his first 2 EPs Atol Scrap for Din and Tides for CCO which gained him a degree of notoriety and acclaim mainly in Germany and then throughout the world in the IDM, ambient, and electronic music scene. Since the productive early Arovane years of 1999 and 2000 there has been a collaboration with Phonem and one additional album release; Lilies, in 2004. It was significant that the last track on this album is called "Good Bye Forever" – as there was a nine year hiatus, which ended in 2013 with the release of Ve Palor on the n5MD label. Arovane makes tracks that are timeless and unforgettable. He is one of the few artists that has an easily identifiable, distinctively unique sound of his own. His music is emotional, melodic, warm and full of creative expression. Great to put one’s feet up to but, on the flip side, can also be beat-driven and layered with synths and textured distortions. After a career built on forward thinking, these two tracks written for Touchin' Bass are somewhat more mathematical and futuristic. It’s a style that he seems to have shifted towards naturally. This release is packed with several substantial punches, frenzied beats and, as always, leaves a lasting impression.
