Andrew Hargreaves of The Boats fame and UK indie/folk/country blue singer Beth Roberts make quite a racket. This version of Redemption Forest is the 2013 limited edition LP. Somewhat akin akin to Electro Pop, Björk, and Portishead. While this is somewhat accurate there is an underling uneasiness to the music. The duo also have no qualms about their use of distortion/overdrive on the beats which give the album an added heft that the aforementioned are somewhat devoid of. We could even see fans of electro-industrial or darkwave get into this release due to the gritty nature of the soundbed.
