We agree with The Flenser when they say "The shimmering dissonance with hints of slowcore, post-punk, ambient and shoegaze that characterizes Cold Air will appeal to fans of Mount Eerie, Planning for Burial, and Have a Nice Life." This cuts the album a bit short though. Cold Air has enough MBV style navel-gazing and wooziness to appease fans of the creation era while featuring some satisfyingly somber moments that even the most critical slowcore aficionado can get their mumble on with. Recommended
