Ard Janssen who records as Art Bit is a long-time protege of Don and Roel Funcken (Funckarma/Quench). He first surfaced via a collaboration credit on Quench's n5MD album Caipruss. Ard does run the risk of being stylistically congruent with the brother's output but sidesteps such trappings by pulling off a surprisingly original album of moody electronics somewhere between dubstep and electro. Highly recommended.
