RESTOCK Those that follow the dutch brother duo of Don and Roel Funcken's various musical muses know that they are most known for their precisely crafted, glitch mangled beatwork and their disjointed and bubbly bass, be it sub frequencies or other wise. Psar Dymog finds the brother's doing something that may seem out of left field for their main Funckarma project by removing such signature elements. The album is their take on (primarily) beatless ambient. There is a surprising amount of forward movement in these 16 tracks. If there were ever a Bladerunner sequel this could very easily trump Vangelis' future-world soundtrack of it's prequel. One could think of this as a darker more intense (dare we say better) Future Sound of London or really what it truly is... Funckarma changing the landscape of their own aural future.
