Apart is Francis M. Gri and 'Digital Frame' is his 3rd album and debut on his own KrysaliSound imprint. Highly structured ambient that's fairly heavy on the piano. Somewhat akin to Near The Parenthesis albeit without NTPs thoughtful metallic percussion. Elsewhere Gri brings in a bit of guitar which changes the mood quite a bit. Two of the tracks even feature port-royal live member Alexandr Vatagin (Valeot, Tupolev) on cello duties. All in all 'Digital Frame" would feel right at home on Symbolic Interaction or Sun Sea Sky and should appeal to followers of those imprints' output.
