Yamaoka are a Japanese act formed by Yoshinori Yamazaki and Kenichi Oka. Since 1991 they have been very active and have several releases out in Europe and Japan. Most of them are mainly hard driven techno but for the U-cover CDr label they have especially created tracks with a more atmospheric sound. Living in the high north of Japan, Hokkaido who is the second largest of Japan's four main islands, where the winters are long and very cold and nature is pure and impressive they are devote to their music. Creating loop based tracks in a very skilled and unique way they will continue to build up their already massive discography. Hokkaido Loops 1 is the first of more to come soon.
