"Haarp" is Rudi Gottsberger who lives and works in Vienna, the capital city of Austria. He is a video designer, audio engineer and musician and with Haarp he brings his talent into non-commercial electronic music that shows his professional knowledge. He combines breakbeats, grim soundscapes and melancholic melodies with animal sounds such as frogs and grasshoppers (provided by Brigitte Gottsberger who works at the Department of Zoology at the University of Erlangen), bats (the Department of Zoology at the University of Ulm provided the bat sounds and the 'Bat Detector' from "Peterson Electronic AB" recorded ultrasonic sounds and transposed them into a human range of audibility). Rudi combines electronic music with voice samples that refer to artistic (Dennis Hopper, George C Scott), moralistic (Charles Manson) and political (Erich Honecker) phenomenons.
